PREV   Never have I thought anyone would be interested in behind-the-photo information, but Schwartzie was special, so here I begin. She was always looking for attention and rarely stayed in any position for very long. This day she was following the camera along the wall and briefly paused, striking this pose. Fortunately I was ready and got the shot as she moved again about a second after I pushed the shutter button. Due to the inherent delay in cell phone cameras, the last pixel must have been scanned just as she began to move towards me again. Many people complain cats do not engage with humans like dogs, but as you can see from this image Schwartzie was different, she always looked you in the eyes.   NEXT

Comment: R.I.P. Schwartzie, a.k.a. Fatty; you were such a sweet talking kitty, the only one I have ever known. You brought us all a lot of pleasure and you'll live on in our memories, frolicking and meowzing for attention. We all miss you much. Perhaps we'll meet again, somewhere, over the rainbow.

Comment: What a nice long hair black cat, no wonder its name is Schwartzie.

Comment: Schwartzie was really lucky to have Dr. Gayle at Tarzana Pet Clinic http://tarzanapetclinic.com/ as her veterinarian. Dr. Gayle and the staff are the best, and the clinic made a contribution to a respected animal charity in Schwartzie's name when she passed. Now that shows an outfit that really cares about your pet.
